Duke Ellington, Sophisticated Lady
During the Black Alumni Weekend, a friend encouraged me to find a certain Duke Ellington liner note. I have not found the liner note but it subsequently came to my attention that April is Jazz Appreciation Month. Connections being what they are, I thought it might be interesting for us all to share some of the great jazz offerings.
